1. Indiana Beach - another local amusement park
2. Gaming center (video games/ tokens)
3. Bounce Planet
4. YMCA Pool
5. Art class
6. Pool playdate - wait we did that today! Cross it off!
7. Campfire (waiting for a below 90 degree day)
8. Camping (ditto from #7)
9. Bike ride to park (still need cooler temps)
10. Summer party with neighbors
11. Splash pad
12. Pet store
13. Make ice cream
14. Cooking class
15. Picnic (cooler temps!)
I better get the calendar out eh?

Our Summer List
How can summer be almost over??? Crazy! In early June, the kids and I sat down and created a list of things we'd like to do this summer. Will we get to them all? Probably not, but even doing half of them will make for a fun, memorable summer!
Here is what we've done so far - tomorrow I'll post what's still on our list.
1. Holiday World (nearby amusement park - SO MUCH FUN!)
2. Putt putt - thanks to Groupon, we went twice!
3. Chuck E Cheese (I got out of that one, hubby took them while I worked).
4. Play with friends (multiple times!)
5. Library Story Time - we've been regulars this summer
6. County Fair
7. Swimming class
8. VBS
9. Children's museum

School's out for summer!
Hard to believe school is out for the summer already! My daughter just finished Kindergarten and will be heading to first grade in the fall. Wow!
Yesterday she brought home a folder with all of her writing prompts. They were in order from the first to the last. Although I dearly wanted to go through them all, I didn't - I gave the folder to my husband and asked him to make it into a book. He just brought it home and it is the perfect way to remember the year and see how my daughter has progressed.
I've been keeping assorted papers and projects in a file folder (dating them as I go) and I may just make one more book for those - then I'll have two organized books representing her first year of school. They don't take up much room, but tell a fantastic story - and I can place them right on a bookshelf to enjoy frequently instead of put away in a box somewhere.
